A GROUP of boys from West Craven High School, Barnoldswick, won the Pendle Schools seven-a-side football tournament.
A team effort from the students saw them win four of five games against rival schools from across the borough and take home the winners' trophy.
Coached by PE teacher Dean Wilson, Teal Amos, George Farrell, James Hughes, Mason Payne, William Peel-Waller, Oliver Robinson and Lewis Wonnacott won games against Primet (2-1), Marsden Heights (3-0), Fisher More (4-0) and Park High (1-0).
The only game they lost was a 2-0 defeat against Pendle Vale.
Mason Payne was on fire, scoring six of West Craven's 10 goals.
