AN official investigation has been opened into the death of an 72-year-old woman, who died following a fire at her Sutton home.
Catherine Jennifer Raw was found in the bedroom of her Wright Street home on the evening of Saturday, December 13 and despite efforts by the emergency services, she died a short time later.
Coroner Rob Turnbull this week opened an investigation into her death and is awaiting the results of tests from the post-mortem examination.
