THE Friends of Hellifield Station will host a railway-themed talk and presentation at the Station Tearooms next Friday, January 9.

It is entitled the City of Wells Story - about the West Country Pacific engine which celebrated its 65th anniversary this year.

The talk - which will start at 7.30pm - will be given by John Sagar and Richard Greenwood who saved the locomotive from Barry Scrapyard and restored it to steam.

There will also be a digital show, which will include short unpublished sound recordings.
