THE Rainhall Centre in Barnoldswick is inviting residents to jump-start the year the healthy way.

The centre, on Rainhall Road, will host a Healthy Lifestyles Day from 10.30am to 3.30pm next Saturday, January 31.

A wide variety of individuals and businesses, along with staff from the centre, will give visitors a full programme of events to enjoy.

There will be free sessions on Pilates, yoga, past lives meditation, Bowen therapy, healing and reiki.

People are also invited to join with Border Harmony Choir in a singalong.

Free massages, blood pressure checks and oral health advice will be on offer and there will be talks on osteopathy, the benefits of aloe vera, past lives, weight loss without the worries and EFT.

Oracle card readings will be available and visitors will be able to sign up for an upcoming foraged food and art and craft workshops. All workshops will take place in February, but places are limited and will be offered on a first to sign-up basis.

Entry is free, with the day being funded by the Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale Council for Voluntary Services and the NHS.
