UPPER Wharfedale Heritage Group will hold its first meeting of 2015 next Thursday, February 5.

Dave MacLeod, a senior investigator for English Heritage, will speak about his experiences of aerial photography and archaeology.

He is based in York, from where northern aerial photography work is organised, and has the responsibility for a huge area stretching from the Midlands to the Scottish border. To show change over time, the service records new-found features and established landscape.

The meeting will be held in the Soroptimist Rooms, Otley Street, Skipton, at 7.30pm and admission is £1.50 for members and £3 for visitors.
