NHS Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) governing body will hold its quarterly meeting in public tomorrow (Thursday).

Local people are being invited to come along to hear what the CCG is currently doing to improve health services across Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.

Chairman of the governing body, Dr Colin Renwick, will give a short presentation about the CCG's progress since the last meeting and there will be an opportunity for people to ask questions about the presentation or items on the agenda.

Dr Renwick, a Settle GP, said: “Public meetings give local people a chance to listen and hear more about our work and what we do.”

Chief clinical officer Dr Phil Pue added: “We believe it’s important for people to listen to our discussions and see how we make decisions about the health services they use.

“This meeting is an ideal opportunity for members of the public, patients and carers to hear about our progress and, if they wish, ask the governing body members questions about our work."

It will take place at Central Hall, Alice Street in Keighley, from 6.30pm and agenda and relevant papers are available to view on the CCG website, airedalewharfedalecravenccg.nhs.uk.

Anyone who wants to register to attend the meeting can call 01274 237324 or email engage@awcccg.nhs.uk. If you are unable to come along but still have a question, please tweet @NHSawcccg or email engage@awcccg.nhs.uk. The answers to questions raised will be available on the CCG website after the meeting.
