A DOMESTIC science classroom in a former middle school which has been turned into a community asset, is going back to its roots.

Cook Alison Marsden is using the room at Ingleton's i centre to introduce people to great tasting healthy food.

She is the first user of the domestic science block where organisers hope to establish courses relating to cookery.

Alison said: "The course aims to help people establish some new routines to continue healthy cooking on a regular basis. All the food will be gluten, dairy and sugar free."

Courses cost £36 for three sessions, which will take place on Fridays, March 6, 13 and 20 from 1pm to 2pm.
