CRAVEN Speakers' Club vice-president Sylvia Walker talked her way to success in the Eastern District Speakers' Club finals at The Bridge Hotel, Walshford, near Wetherby.
She won the evaluation section and will go forward to the national competition of The Association of Speakers' Clubs at Southport next month.
Sylvia, who lives in Steeton, said: "Improving my speaking skills in a supportive environment gives me confidence, expertise, and a lot of fun."
