KEELHAM Farm Shop, currently in the final stages of construction in Gargrave Road, Skipton, is on target to open in June.
Work has begun on fitting out of the inside of the £4 million store on the former Nicholas Smith garage site and recruitment has started in earnest to fill more than 60 jobs.
Expected to take around eight weeks, the internal fit out will include a 'living wall' of herbs and 140 seat cafe.
The shop itself will be mainly taken up with fresh produce, a bakery, delicatessen and long-established butchers.
Steve Voke, Keelham Project Manager, said they would be working closely with Bradford based H B Projects to ensure the high standards expected of the family owned business.
They will also be inviting schools in the area during the fit out as part of the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
Meanwhile, those interested in applying for a position in the new store are being urged to apply now via the Keelham Farm website.
