THE West Craven Area Committee has allocated funding for a number of projects and activities in Barnoldswick.
A total of £2,000 from Barnoldswick's capital programme funding will be used to do some planting near the paving area at Long Ing.
Another £864 will be used for a project to tidy up land on Hill Street and Earl Street in the West Craven town.
The committee allocated £500 to the Valley Gardens Working Group for a summer fayre taking place on May 16.
Another £500 was awarded which will be used to carry out a St George's Day celebration in Barnoldswick.
The committee also awarded Kelbrook and Sough Village Hall £1,000, which along with approximately £1,000 from the hall's own funds and £1,000 grant from Kelbrook engineering firm Euravia, will be used to install a new combi boiler.
