THE 45th Long Preston May Queen will be 12-year-old Hannah Glossop.
She will be crowned by last year's queen Imogen Daley at the Mayday celebrations on Saturday, May 2.
Hannah, a pupil at Skipton Girls' High School, is a keen musician, playing the flute and piano, and attends Skipton Music Centre.
She also took part in Settle Amateur Operatic Juniors' recent production of The Wizard of Oz.
And Hannah will be well supported on her big day - traditionally, the attendants are the year two youngsters at Long Preston Primary School and this year, there are 14 youngsters in the class!
The celebrations will take place on the Maypole Green, where children from the primary school will perform traditional dances followed by a fete.
