St Andrew's, Cowling
A SPECIAL service to commemorate the laying of the foundation stone for St Andrew's Methodist Church, Cowling, will take place next Sunday, May 3 at 10.30am.
It will be led by the Rev Ken Beardsley and there will be photos and memorabilia on display.
There will also be a short talk with projected photos of all six of Cowling's past and present churches, along with any other items of interest brought on the day.
The 50th anniversary celebrations of the church's opening will take place in November.
