PARISH elections will be held in three Craven communities.
As well as electing a new MP and district councillor, voters in Skipton, Embsay-with-Eastby and Thornton-in-Craven will also be asked to vote for new parish representatives.
The candidates are:
Embsay-with-Eastby (eight seats) - Andrew Ayrton, Judith Benjamin, Hazel Chatwin, David Hill, Stella Kirkbride, Brian
Shuttleworth, Vince Smith, Robert Stead and Iain Vokes-Tilley.
Skipton Town: East ward (four seats) - Jim Black, Wendy Clark, Chris Harbron, Pam Heseltine, Eric Jaquin, David Noland, Chris Rose; North ward (four seats) - Sajjad Anwar, John Dawson, Calvin Dow, John Kerwin-Davey, James Paton, James Stafford, Gerry Walsh, Paul Whitaker, Roland Wohlrapp; South ward (four seats) - Gordon Bell, Martin Emmerson, Robert Heseltine, Carole Manley, John Manley, Karen McIntyre; West ward (four seats) - Chris Clark, Bernard Clarke, Paul English, Alan Hickman, Peter Madeley, John Pope, Andy Rankine, Andrew Solloway, Edward Walker.
Thornton-in-Craven (five seats) - Philip Bowdler, Steven Briggs, Michele Graham-Roe, Robert Hall, Debbie Joyce and Martin Lockyer.
No parish contests will be held in Carleton or Sutton-in-Craven where the number of candidates equalled the number of seats available.
