Head boy Travis Taylor was in charge of the cake stall and was rather worried about the effects of the delicious angel cakes!
THE Parent, Teacher and Friends Association at Bentham Community Primary School raised £346.53 at its recent coffee morning at Bentham Town Hall.
Members ran a tombola, cake stall, jumble and bric-a-brac stall and raffle.
PTFA member Sarah Jones said the work had been done by an enthusiastic but small group of volunteers and she expressed the hope that more parents, friends and teachers would be involved in the future.
Staff raised an additional £95 with a stall selling school memorabilia
Headteacher Catherine Boocock praised the efforts of all, especially the children.
