A WALKER slipped on the limestone pavement at the top of Malham Cove around lunchtime on Saturday.
The 56-year-old woman sustained a lower leg injury and an air ambulance lifted her off the cove and flew her about 700 metres to a road ambulance.
Members of the Clapham-based Cave Rescue Organisation were also called out, but were stood down as they arrived at the scene.
