THE Foundation Stage Unit at Glusburn School held its first-ever music-a-thon to raise money for a giant outdoor xylophone.
Throughout the day, the children were exposed to different genres of music as they were joined by parents and family who showcased their musical talents.
Instruments included guitars, drums, accordions, fiddles and harmonicas.
The children were also joined by school recorder group, the school choir and the ukulele club while the PTA supported the event by serving refreshments.
The event raised £565.
