THE Lime Gallery at The Courtyard, Settle, has unveiled its latest exhibition.
It features the work of Ilkley-based Laura Wallace and Edinburgh's Alison Dickson, who are both influenced by the Scottish colourists.
Laura's oils of the Scottish landscape and seascape, her native Yorkshire and flowers show depth and vigour, with an inviting and calming palette.
Alison has a more contemporary style, but the same thoughtful approach to colour and her landscapes are calming and reflective. She creates texture by building up layers with paint and collage techniques, and then works into them with skewers, knives and anything else to hand.
The exhibition is open daily until July 6.
