THE Craven Police Charity Fund (CPCF) raised nearly £4,500 at its annual quiz and auction night.
The event is supported local people and businesses and its aim is to support local charities that benefit the community and those that enrich the lives of local children.
This year's beneficiaries - which will each receive £2,221.25 - will be split between Petal Childhood Cancer Research and SELFA (Skipton Extended Learning For All), which supports vulnerable, disadvantaged and disabled children across Craven area.
Next year will be the CPCF’s 20th fundraising year and it is planning a host of fundraising events including its annual quiz and auction night at Skipton's Rendezvous Hotel on Friday, March 4, 2016.
