TWO young musicians will give a recital at Bolton Abbey Priory Church on Sunday.
It will feature trumpet player Edward Freeman and organist Josh Roebuck.
Edward is just 13 and his credits include a silver medal at the Luxembourg international trumpet competition and victory in the brass open class at the Harrogate Festival.
He attends St Aidan’s Church of England High School, Harrogate, and plays in their senior orchestra and symphonic wind band and also plays piano and percussion.
Josh is an organ scholar at St John the Baptist, Knaresborough, and is currently completing A-levels. He will be taking up a scholarship to study organ at Birmingham Conservatoire.
He plays and sings regularly in his local church, as well as directing the school Baroque Orchestra. He is also a keen violinist, and plays oboe and bassoon.
The recital starts at 4pm and there will be a retiring collection.
