OLLIE Hardaker produced a stunning display of batting as Horsforth rolled over Tong Park Esholt and went above Colton at the top of Division Two thanks to picking up more bonus points.

Hardaker smashed 11 sixes and 17 fours in racing to an unbeaten 177 in 126 balls. He and Gareth Lee (63no) put on 244no to take Horsforth to 258-2.

Lee, who must be one of the shrewdest signings this year, then took 4-46 including rounding off Park’s innings of 147 with three wickets in four balls.

A half-century, sixth-wicket partnership between Robbie Miller (46) and Red Bolton (35) helped Ben Rhydding to 144 but they couldn’t combat Colton’s two outstanding all-rounders. Tom Glover picked up 7-63 then hit 41no while Jonathan Horner took 3-24 followed by 58 as Colton won by six wickets.

John Goldthorp (59no) and Jake Zslinzsky (49) led Pool’s successful chase of Harden’s 199-7 to keep their side in third place. Isaac Murray (78) was top scorer for Harden with Dave Amos taking four wickets.

Thackley’s John Rudge (5-38) took five or better for the fourth time this season helping to restrict Skipton to 175-8 with Shahid Nadeem (64) top scoring. But Thackley were bowled out for 123 with Iqbal Khan and Richard Nichols each picking up three cheap wickets

Jake Agar hit a half century in Green Lane’s 182 but they were denied victory when Knaresborough’s Eben Martin (88no) hit the winning run off the last available ball having put on 34 for the last wicket.

Otley cruised past Follifoot to go back to the top of Division One above Beckwithshaw who dropped three possible bonus points in beating third-placed Kirkstall.

Jame Pickering, David Hester and James Davies each hit a half-century in Otley’s 246 before Follifoot were skittled out for 81

A fifth-wicket stand of 115 between Jason Wright (78) and Sami Rehman (51) put Burley on the way to 247-9. Shane Etherington (4-24) and Sam Fox (3-27) then clinched maximum points by dismissing Ilkley for 143

Having bowled out North Leeds for 154 Guiseley had high hopes of a second victory but with the exception of Michael Stannard (36), their batting crumbled and they managed just 67.

Andrew Doidge’s second six-wicket haul of the season twice included two wickets in two balls as Collingham were dismissed for 176.

But Toby Jacklin (6-52) replied in kind and Rawdon were all out for 100 to lose by 76 runs.

Steeton found Bilton in irresistible form and with Richard Spittlehouse taking 5-13 they were bowled out for 133 in reply to the home side’s 304-8.

The Division Three promotion challengers remain bunched up after the top two lost to close rivals and Bolton Villas nipped in to go second.

Sam Lawrence included three wickets in five balls in his 8-42 spell as Alwoodley slipped from 180-3 to 191 all out.

That also provided Villas with some extra overs and they needed eight of them to clinch a three-wicket win, the Clarke brothers, Andrew (61no) and Michael (39) leading the way.

Olicanian’s spell at the top lasted only a week as their 205-7 was overhauled by Old Modernians with one wicket and three balls to spare. Scott Sanderson (88no) top scored for Olicanian with Chris Wheeler following up a score of 47 with 4-64

The expected run feast happened at New Rover but it was the home side, not Addingham, who had the best of it.

Oliver Whiteman (131) and Fred Kamstra (67) put on 126 in Rover’s 300-6 to which Addingham replied with 216, Nathan Harford (49) twas he main contributor

A half-entury from Zabi Ullah was the highlight of Silsden’s 149 but Steve Phillips (62) led Hall Park’s successful run chase to notch their fourth win in a row. The results leaves Silsden 34 points adrift at the bottom.

Calverley had no answer to Upper Wharfedale’s Australian all-rounder Caleb Grant who followed up a half-century with 7-43 as his side romped home by 151 runs
