CRAVEN Sailing Club is on the crest of a wave after being presented with a new dinghy by Skipton Rotary Club.
Named RYLA after the Rotary Young Leadership Awards, the boat will hopefully encourage more youngsters to take up sport.
The official launch took place at a blustery Push the Boat Out Day and youngster Matthew Alred had the honour of being the first person to sail her.
“This is a fantastic asset to the club and we are indebted to the generous support of Skipton Rotary Club,” said Club Commodore Al Cass. “We know that it will give years of service and introduce many, many young people to sailing."
The club also received financial support from the Eric Twinname Trust.
