BRITISH Transport Police, investigating an incidence of racial abuse, want to track this youth who had alighted from a train that originated in Skipton.

Officers say they want to speak to the youth in connection with an incident at Keighley Railway Station on Friday, June 12, at around 4.55pm, in which a member of staff was racially abused at the ticket barrier.

PC Sian Adams said: "The man abused was simply doing his job and shouldn’t have to be verbally abused or threatened in this way, it’s not acceptable. The racist language used during this attack makes it even more deplorable and we will not tolerate it on the rail network."
