A MOTORCYCLIST, seriously injured in a crash in Earby last week, remains in a critical condition in hospital.

The 34-year-old local man sustained "significant" head injuries when his machine left the carriageway and collided with a stone wall on Bleara Road, near to Harden Old Barn, at around 8.30pm last Tuesday, June 23.

He was flown by air ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital, where his condition is described as critical.

Sgt Tracey Ward, of East Road Policing Unit, said: “I would urge anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the accident and may have seen what happened to contact us.”
