The Mighty Doonans are renowned for their entertaining performances
THE Mighty Doonans will headline at the First Sunday Folk event at Settle's Victoria Hall this weekend.
They have a reputation for imaginative and innovative interpretations of traditional and contemporary songs and an ability to blend different genres of music and dance.
As well as their trademark high-energy tunes, the group also performs song with tenderness and depth that tug at the heartstrings.
As usual, Sunday's folk night will be introduced by comedian, singer and presenter Mike Harding and there will be music from the resident William Small Small Orchestra.
