CRAVEN College's girls netball team has a smart new kit.

The team has received new training tops and bibs from the owners of the Moody Cow in Ilkley.

Moody Cow owner Martin Oates said: "I'm pleased we could help the girls and give support to female sport at the college.

"The sponsorship is a good way for us to get involved with the community and we're very happy we had the opportunity to help."

Staff at the Moody Cow also took the time to invite the players for a meal to introduce themselves to the students.

Craven College programme leader Luke Swindlehurst said: "It's been a very smooth and enjoyable process following early discussions for sponsorship. Martin and his staff were very accommodating in helping us to develop the netball team here at Craven College.

"We were also invited to meet the owner personally, which I think is a very nice touch."

Craven College will continue to develop female sport into the 2015/16 academic year. Anyone interested in sport should contact the college or apply online at craven-college.ac.uk
