A GROUP which supports people with breathing problems staged an awareness-raising event.
Breathe Easy Aire Valley had an information stand in the Airedale Hospital outpatients' department.
Visitors were able to learn more about how the group helps lung-disease sufferers.
There was also a tombola, which raised £99.
The venture was held to coincide with Breathe Easy Week and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the British Lung Foundation.
A group spokesman said: "The event was extremely successful, with many people visiting and leaflets being given out.
"The tombola was also a success. We thank everyone who donated and the members for their efforts."
Breathe Easy Aire Valley meets on the first Wednesday of every month from 1.45pm to 3.45pm at The Hub, in Stone Grove, Steeton.
