PAT Holt raised £733 for the Marie Curie charity when she held a Blooming Great Tea Party at the Addingham Memorial Hall.

Pat, treasurer of the Marie Curie Ilkley Fundraising Group, and her helpers spent the days leading up to the event baking.

Cakes were also donated by Just Desserts in Shipley.

All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide more free care to people living with a terminal illness in their own homes and in the Marie Curie Hospice, Bradford.

Pat said: “I’d like to thank the local community who came along to support my tea party. All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide expert care, guidance and support to help people living with a terminal illness get the most from the time they have left. I would like to say a special thanks to Addingham Women's Institute and Marion Phillips for all their efforts and support of the event.”
