LITTON youngster George Simpson will make his singing debut with Buckden Singers this weekend.
The nine-year-old Kettlewell School pupil will sing a solo in the opening number and will then reprise the solo for a "lipdub" production of the same song, involving the students, staff and governors of Kettlewell Primary School and Upper Wharfedale School, as well as members of Buckden and Grassington Singers.
The recording is being made to celebrate the formation of the Upper Wharfedale Federation of Schools which comes into being in September.
The Buckden Singers’ concerts - which will also feature love songs and traditional songs from across the British Isles - will take place at St Michael's, Hubberholme, tomorrow and at St Margaret's, Threshfield, on Saturday.
Both performances start at 7.30pm and tickets are available from Megan Lightfoot on 01756 760399 or email tickets@buckden.org
