BUDDING artists have the chance to brush up on their techniques and capture the beauty of the Dales landscape in watercolour on Yorkshire Day.
Watercolour artist Rachel McNaughton will led the event at Nethergill Farm in Oughtershaw on Saturday.
The day-long workshop will draw on the inspiration of the landscape and the restored ancient hay meadows on the farm to teach the techniques that will enable people, even beginners, to capture the beauty in watercolour.
The day runs from 10am and 4pm and costs £85 per person which includes homemade lunch. Pre-booking is essential and can be made by contacting Fiona Clark at Nethergill on 01756 761126 or email fiona.clark@nethergill.co.uk.
A donation from the day will be made to the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, which has been instrumental in helping Nethergill enhance the wildlife habitat and create the ‘farm reserve’.
