HELLIFIELD Gala attracted many visitors despite Saturday's showery weather.
This year's gala queen, Lauren Constantine, and her attendants, Charlotte Chapman, Faye Cooper, Lily Sheard and Charlie Walker, led the procession around the gala field.
The event – the 46th in its history – got off to a flying start with Hellifield's Got Talent in the marquee on Friday night.
It was a very popular event, with many locals turning out to be entertained by the village's singers and dancers.
Entertainment on the Gala Saturday included country and blue grass from singers Stan and Jane plus Denis Lord and Paul Murphy, better known as the Saggy Bottom Boys.
Children's entertainer Circus Jim, Skipton Majorettes, birds of prey, fairground attractions and various stalls proved popular on the field.
Hellifield Women's Institute provided the catering in the marquee and, later in the afternoon, there were the usual annual sports together with the senior and junior fell races.
Compere for the day was Roger Ingham.
There was further entertainment in the marquee on Saturday evening in the form of singing duo Eye Candy and Mix Disco.
Thanks go to all who sponsored and supported this year's event.
