A THRESHFIELD care home will hold a free summer garden party on Friday, August 14, from 2pm to 5pm.
Threshfield Court, part of the Barchester group of homes, will thrown open its doors to friends, relatives and the general public who will be able to enjoy a hog roast, stalls and live entertainment.
And Zoolab will hold a creepie crawlie petting zoo, where people can handle a range of reptiles, insects and other animals.
Activities co-ordinator Lorraine Butler said: "We are fortunate to be part of a local and caring community. This event is a thank you to the residents of Grassington and Threshfield, who have been so supportive of the home over the years. We are looking forward to welcoming people to the garden party and hope it will become an annual event."
