THE Gargrave-based Yorkshire Dales Society has organised a free guided walk at Fewston Reservoir.
It will be be led by Bernard Peel and is just over three miles long. However, for slightly more active people, the walk will be extended round Swinsty Reservoir, adding a further two miles.
Those taking part should meet Bernard at the Swinsty car park (Timble) on Wednesday at 11am. Come wearing walking shoes/trainers and have a waterproof and a packed lunch/drink. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
The walk is suitable for anyone who enjoys a shorter, fairly level walk but it isn’t suitable for prams or wheelchair users.
