RYLSTONE'S Calendar Girls feature on a new range of chocolates from Skipton firm Whitakers.

After their hit nude calendar and successful movie, the WI ladies have been the inspiration for special boxes of Neopolitan squares, each wrapped in an image of one of the women. And 20p from the sale of each box will go to Leukaemia Research - the charity supported by the group.

John Whitaker, owner of Whitakers Chocolates, said: "The phenomenon of the Calendar Girls is just amazing. Something that began in North Yorkshire is now known worldwide and I'm delighted to use this original idea to help the girls raise even more cash for a fantastic cause."

The chocolates were launched at a Leukaemia Research conference attended by four of the Calendar Girls - Lynda Logan, Ros Fawcett, Tricia Stewart and Christine Clancy.
