REAL ale enthusiasts have presented a Skipton pub with a certificate after it was voted Pub of the Season by members of the Campaign for Real Ale.
And licensees Steve Banks and Janet Langton are holding a double celebration following the news that the Beer Engine will also be included in the next CAMRA Good Beer Guide - after less than 18 months in business.
The certificate was presented by Sally Goodman and Steve Hill, of Keighley and Craven CAMRA, who had nominated the Beer Engine, on Albert Terrace, for the award.
Steve and Janet opened the pub in May last year to provide a community hub with no music or television.
It always has five contrasting real ales, with real ciders and perries, plus foreign bottled beers, available.
