CRAVEN people are being asked for their views on how the district council spends its money - and where its priorities should lie.
And as it begins the process of setting its revenue budget for the 2016- 17 financial year, Craven District Council is inviting comments on its website.
The detailed annual budget forms part of the council’s seven-year Long Term Financial Strategy (LTFS) 2016/17 to 2022/23.
Council leader, Cllr Richard Foster, urged people to comment.
“We are facing a number of challenges as we attempt to balance our budget and we want to know what residents think about our priorities and services in the future.”
To find out more go to the council’s website cravendc.gov.uk/yourmoneyyoursay,.
Copies of the budget consultation are also available from the council offices in Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, or at the tourist office, Skipton Town Hall, or by email to budget@cravendc.gov.uk. The consultation ends on November 30.
