WELL-KNOWN Craven couple George and Mary Murray celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last Thursday.
George worked as Craven District Council's chief financial officer from 1974 to 1989 while Mary worked at Skipton's Oxfam shop for many years.
Both are retired and live in Skipton, where George looks after Mary and also continues to work as a local lay preacher for the Methodist Church.
