BURGLARS have stolen a car and a number of electrical items from an Earby home.
Police said that overnight on Thursday, October 1, an offender gained access to a house on Barnwood Road through an open window which was partially locked by a latch.
A flat-bladed tool was used to lift the latch allowing access to the property.
Once inside, police said that two TVs, a Nintendo games console, laptop, two tablets, two mobile phones, an iPod, lady's watch and golf clubs were taken.
The burglars also stole the keys to two cars and took a grey Ford Focus, worth £2,500.
The value of the other items taken has been estimated at £1,800.
On the same night, car and house keys were taken during a burglary at a house on Waddington Street, Earby.
However, the keys were placed by the car's tyre and the offender escaped empty-handed.
