U2 tribute band New2 will perform at Glusburn Institute on Saturday.

The band - which spent the summer performing at the UK's Fake Festivals - prides itself on its ability to recreate the sound, look and soul of the Irish legends.

Based in Bradford, UK, New2 has been together since 2002 and has supported acts such as Bob Geldof, Ocean Colour Scene and The Undertones. It has performed hundreds of gigs to thousands of people all over the world, including shows in France, Spain, Germany and Dubai.

Institute spokesman Jason Smith said: "They are the best U2 tribute around. The frontman is a spitting image of Bono. Not only does he look like him but he sounds just like him too!”

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £6 from 01535 630225 or email ola@gicac.org.uk
