AN applicant is seeking outline planning permission for up to 16 homes in Barnoldswick.
Mr M Rawstron is seeking consent to build homes on land to the rear of the Greyhound pub, on Manchester Road.
The site is former allotment land and part of the former car park for the Greyhound.
Initial plans show 16 houses, which includes a mix of townhouses, semi detached and detached properties, but final details would have to be agreed through a reserved matters application at a later date.
The site, which is within the development boundary of Barnoldswick and is part of two conservation areas, has extant planning permission for nine detached houses, which was granted in April 2015.
The proposed development would be accessed by a new private road leading off the existing adopted access onto Manchester Road.
