PUPILS in years four, five and six at Skipton Parish C of E Primary became criminal investigators for the morning - whittling down the suspects to solve a make-believe crime.
The school welcomed Michael Dawson from the Education Group, who led an interactive forensic science workshop where the children learned how to identify suspects; find, develop and characterise fingerprints; and search for DNA.
Year five teacher Zoe Barr said: "It was an outstanding morning, inspiring and challenging all the pupils to use their scientific, observational and team work skills to identify the culprit. Maybe there will be a Parish Inspector Clouseau one day?"
