MEMBERS of the Clapham-based Cave Rescue Organisation were called to two Craven beauty spots at the weekend.

They assisted a local man who was taken ill on the Nature Trail at Clapham on Saturday evening.

They drove him to the village where he was handed over to personnel from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

And, on Sunday, the team was called to Malham Cove where a disabled visitor had left behind her mobility scooter to get nearer to the Cove, but became incapacitated.

CRO members and Yorkshire Ambulance Service personnel gave her pain relief before helping her back to Malham.
