A SKIPTON family have realised their business dream - opening Mamma J’s Cafe and Takeaway and Little Munchkins Children’s Activity Cafe on the town's Cavendish Street.
It is the brainchild of Jo Jennings, her son Carl Wain and daughter-in-law Sara Wain.
Jo settled in Skipton 20 years ago with her husband and children, Sara has lived in Skipton all her life and attended Greatwood Primary School and both Carl and Sara attended Aireville School.
Jo and Carl prepare and cook the innovative flexible menu while Sara is the activity co-ordinator for Little Munchkins, which is aimed at under sevens and is based on learning through play.
The family started work on the former Tapsell & West Carpet showroom just before Christmas and completed the refurbishment last month.
