PEOPLE are being urged to take part in a moonlight walk in Skipton to raise money for Cancer Support Yorkshire.
The second annual 5km fun walk on June 10 will set off from Skipton Town Hall and finish at the cancer support centre in Otley Street.
Fundraiser Caroline Lewis said last year's event was a great success, with more than £7,000 being raised.
She added: “This event is open to everyone.
"Fancy dress is optional but sensible footwear is absolutely essential.
"The proceeds will go to Cancer Support Yorkshire to help local people affected by a cancer diagnosis."
Those taking part are being asked to register at 7pm outside the town hall on the day, and there will be a warm-up at 7.45pm ahead of the walk starting at 8pm. It is expected to finish at about 9.30pm.
Fundraising packs can be downloaded from csyorkshire.org.uk or are available from the support centre in Otley Street.
