PUPILS at Skipton's Greatwood School celebrated The Queen's 90th birthday in style.
Children and staff wore red, blue and white as their uniform for the day, and pupils were treated to a special birthday tea party.
"We all took part in a variety of royal-themed activities, all based on maths," said school spokesman, Sue Smith.
"We also had a general knowledge quiz for the whole school. Children from each class could apply to be in one of the teams and then could choose to ask a friend/teacher or 50/50.
"The children thoroughly enjoyed this and were amazed at the amount they knew about the Royal Family. One little boy wanted to know if The Queen was coming to her birthday party, but we explained she was very busy!"
