CHILDREN at Eastburn Junior & Infant School have received a lesson in health and safety from a developer building houses in the village.
Tony Haigh, of Miller Homes, visited the school to talk about the potential dangers of construction sites.
And pupils had the chance to dress-up in the protective equipment worn by workers.
Miller Homes Yorkshire sales manager, Sarah Whinfrey, said: "We were made incredibly welcome by the school.
"Tony's talk was a great way of working with the children and the local community to remind them of the need to take care of their safety at all times."
Jo Waterhouse, headteacher at the school, said: "We were delighted to welcome Tony and Miller Homes and thank them for providing such an informative talk and raising awareness of the dangers of construction sites."
The company is building 150 homes near Airedale Hospital.
