A SILSDEN woman staged a garden party to raise money for charity – and celebrate the second anniversary of her shed!
Grace Summersgill split the proceeds between Skipton and Craven Action for the Disabled (SCAD), of which she is a trustee, and the Carers' Resource.
About £350, plus gift aid, was raised for each.
The event – which also marked Carers' Week – included a raffle, tombola and bottle stall.
SCAD is holding a warehouse sale at the Old Printing Works, next to its shop in Main Street, Cross Hills, from 10am to 3pm on July 2.
Anyone interested in volunteering with the group is asked to call 01756 701005.
