LIVESTOCK auctioneer, Rachel Capstick, from Hellifield, has raised £5,100 for three charities close to her heart.
The money will go to The Brain Tumour Charity, Manorlands Hospice and St Catherines Hospice, Preston.
Rachel, an auctioneer at Gisburn Auction Mart, raised the money following the death of her younger brother, Dominic Hester.
A Clitheroe solicitor, he died just 14 months after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
In her attempts to raise money and awareness of brain tumours, Rachel, who has three children, has run a half marathon on the Isle of Tiree, off the West coast of Scotland, while husband, David, donated a sheep and lambs, which Rachel sold at Gisburn Auction Marts.
“I am so thankful to the loyal customers of Gisburn Auction Marts who so kindly donated money and I amazed by the amount of money raised to support these deserving charity," she said.
