A SKIPTON doctors surgery has joined forces with Carers Resource to provide extra support to carers.
From the middle of August, Carers Resource worker, Helen King, will be at Dyneley House Surgery providing tailored and confidential advice to carers registered with the practice.
Carers will also be able to take advantage of a health check from a member of the nursing team.
Practice manager, Antony Radley, said: “It makes a lot of sense for the practice to work together with Carers Resource to provide additional support for carers, who do a fantastic job caring for a friend or family member.
"It allows a busy carer to make sure they’re in good shape whilst finding out what support is available to them and how they can access it."
