SETTLE Harriers will play host on Sunday to long distance runner Ben Smith as he bids to complete 401 marathons in 401 days.
Several runners will join Ben, who started his 401 Challenge on September 1 last year, on a two-lap route, starting from Craven Terrace in Settle.
Runners will go on a specially mapped-out loop, taking in Giggleswick, Lawkland, Austwick, Wharfe and back to Settle along Stackhouse Lane.
Harriers' secretary, Chris Beesley, said it is fantastic what Ben is aiming to achieve, and hopes lots of people will go along, offer their support and even join him for some, or all, of the route.
Ben, 33, from Bristol, has so far completed more than 320 marathons. He was in Preston on Saturday, Allithwaite on Friday and Ambleside last Thursday.
He is aiming to raise awareness of bullying in schools, and is hoping to raise £250,000 for the charities Stonewall and Kidscape.
Ben will start the Settle marathon at 10am outside the Catholic Church of St Mary and St Michael in Craven Terrace at 10am.
