A MOTORIST airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries after a crash at Silsden is said to be in a stable condition.
The 59-year-old man was driving a Vauxhall van which was in collision with a barrier on the A6034 Keighley Road shortly after 8.30am yesterday.
He was taken by air ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary.
No other vehicle was involved in the accident.
Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone who saw the van immediately before the incident, to get in touch.
